having a husband that really hasn't a clue when it comes to what he would like as a christmas or birthday present he ususally has to make do with something for the garden i.e. last year a bird table and books, then binoculars with a camera built in; for christmas I managed to find a bird box complete with camera and the bonus was that it is wireless. I told my sister as she has several peolple that she has the same problem with mand are also wild life enthusiasts, and she bought several. Everyone has been really pleased with them so I though you folks might like to know about them.
They come from QD stores and are both instore and online and cost £30 which I think is great. happy viewing and hope it's worth while.
Hi Rainbow32
Sounds like a bargain!
I would love to have a camera nest box sometime, will add it to my christmas list!
Last Christmas I had a sparrow terrace and house martin nests, both up and hope to get residents in them this year.

It's not always easy to hug a hedgehog.
But that doesn't mean you shouldn't.
My brother has just put a bird cam into a nest box in his garden so here's hoping it is soon occupied. He also has a camera pointing towards the bird feeders and connected to a monitor in his kitchen. When I visit you can bet that I orientate towards it. Love to hear more when you have some residents.
