since i last posted i have brought my first nest box all the ones before i had made hopfully i got in place in time
you all been posting and all the birds you see seems so many compared with my garden but in the last two weeks i,ve see paires of blue tits great tits an mash tits no coal tits around here the long tail tits are still atround but not yet in my garden a week a go i saw my first frogs
yesterday 3 were trying to mate one female and two males looked intent on drowning each other but today no frogspawn but heard frogs croaking around the ponds i think here its a bit early for them going by other years
iu saw a couple of chafinches that disappeared opover the winter months song thrursh singing in a garden near me as useual at this time of year far as i can make out their never seccessful at bredding here
two male black birds have been feeding in the garden for weeks now
the robins back after leaving my garden last autumn and singing
sparrows around here have been chuipping away a few dootrsaway but to day it was my turn for them to chiup in my garden
no signs of nest building but i starled a blacbird that indicated to me it had a nest nearby
magpies are back looks like their going to use the nest they built last year
havent seen newts or pondskaters yet either
going by plant damage very few slugs are about
got about 6 flowing types of plants in bloom
roseringed parakeets are flying around very noseily first time they been here all the winter
i would like to take some pictures of the marsh tits but their very shy and hard to get close enought to them up in the tree tops
no sucess with the bird table either only wood pigeons and the odd blue tit

It sounds like you have a very busy garden, with several unusual visitors; marsh tits, newts and ringed parakeets aren't common visitors to gardens.

since the last post i saw two female blackbirds in my garden so it looks like i have two pairs of backbird here the same as last year
today i have frog spawn in my remade pond the one nearest to my house more activeties from the magpies going to and fro to last years nest i can see from my house back window where i am writeing this
glade to say no dead frogs as i did for the last two years so far probly then due to either foxes or cats at night
only frogs in one pond so far not sure why last year they where in all 3 ponds
today my first pond had at lest 50ty frogs in it that all looked well alot more fatter then last year and some are very large
alos the firber pond [pond 2]had at lest ten frogs but so far no frog spawn should be some by tomorrow
its happen i now have thousands of little tadpoles so my pond is waking up
saw pond skaters two days ago
a robin building a nest in the ivy on the garage
wont be happy about my ponds till i see newtsin them
