our blue tits ,our bay tree nest box has suffered it`s 1st loses(baytree cottage),usually a productive box ,was found to have 11 unhatch eggs in it yesterday26-06-2010,the parent birds gave up attending the nest box 3 weeks ago.could this have been the the bad weather,or just elderly birds.

What a shame about your unhatched eggs. I'm so sorry. I can't answer your question, but I suppose these things happen from time to time.
