hi there
In the last couple of day I have noticed a lot of activity in our small bay tree close to our back patio door.
A Robin spending its time taking lots of nest material into the bush. We have a woven nest pocket in there like the one in the link. I had a sneaky look and I can see that there is nest material poking out of the the nest pocket hole

I hope that the robin is alright and I do not want to disturb the bird in any way. It must trust us to have a nest so close to our back patio doors - bless its cotton socks.
Here are a couple of picture to show how close the Robin is nesting to the house
The robin is residing in the bush to the right of the picture where the pole is sitting, and the patio door is showing on the right hand side of the picture as a solid line.

Oh how exciting for you Kathy! To have birds nesting so close shows you are doing something right :o)
Hope you get to see the chicks.
Hi Paul
I really hope the Robins succeed and I hope to see some babies after i come back from holidays.
There have been two Robins seem together sitting on the garden fence so they must be a Mr and Mrs Robin
Nice to see.
What a lovely thing to have so close to your house. I hope they survive and you get to see a lot of babies. Excellent news for you. When you go on holiday you will have to leave plenty of mealworms out!
Cheers, Linda.
