Taking a break from nest duty, he or she came down to snack from the mealworms I put out. I'm well pleased - this is the second year that the nest-box I put up last spring has been used.

Well done Colin, and congratulations.
My unfaithful bluetit is still eating my food and taking bits of hanging basket liner for his nest, but has vacated my camera nest box in favour of another place elsewhere, leaving behind a horrible mess. I hate him!!!!!!
Cheers, Linda.

Nice photo - and congratulations on your Blue Tits coming and using your box for the second year running :o)
Hello, Sparrow - nice to speak to you again.
A vague tone of bitterness in your text, there! Mind you, I'd be vexed after shelling out on a camera nest-box only to have the little bleeder hike off to somewhere else.
Thanks for the congrats - nine birds fledged last year, so i'm hoping for a similar number or higher this time round.
Thanks, Paul.
Yeah, photo wasn't too bad considering it was taken through a window. Not a scratch on some of the photoes you see on this site, mind!
Hi Colin,
Yes, I'm feeling that way out today!
Fingers crossed for another large brood - 9 is pretty good going. Maybe some pics?
Oh Dear, I can't see any of your pictures this morning.
I can see the picture, but on another thread they are being cut off at the bottom!!

Think you've got problems? At St Andrews Spire in Worcester 8 fixed cameras and a remote control one plus infra reds and a web server were installed to capture every moment of the 2010 breeding season for the resident Peregrines which then decided to move elsewhere.
Mind you, they're getting cracking views of the stonework.
Every day a little more irate about bird of prey persecution, and I have a cat - Got a problem with that?
Hi John,
Well that puts my problem in perspective!!!!
Oh John/Sparrow!
That did make me giggle. Just shows that however smart we may think humans are, nature's always one step ahead! :)
And to think I feel frustrated whenever I click my camera and the bird moves out of shot before the photo is taken! :)
Oh you have to laugh don't you! :)
Regards
Steve
I won't be happy until I've got a penguin down :)
