Hi Carol, good to hear your Blue Tits are checking out the box, we have 13 boxes in the garden and all have been checked out as of this morning so its looking good for at least one or two nesting birds:) not an expert on these things but think the male searches for a box and then brings the female to inspect it and see if she accepts the box - they are fussy birds so may inspect a lot of boxes before opting for one !!! good luck, happy nest watching :)
