Nest box camera siting

I've had a lovely present of a nest box with camera, but our much missed hornbeam blew down recently and I'm struggling to find a good site for the box, given that the only other substantial tree in the garden is a prunus, which has several not very thick trunks. We back onto fields, facing east and there is a possible site on our house extension facing north or east. My question is - what is the best way for the box to face? The front of the house takes the brunt of the weather, west facing. Can anyone help?
