Hi Nicholas. Welcome to the Community from Mitcham in Surrey. You have done better than me. My BT's have ignored my nest boxes. They still visit the garden for food, but they nest elsewhere. From what I can see from other postings they are starting to nest now. I think they return to the same boxes each year, but I'm sure someone will give you a definitive answer on that one. The following thread might prove of interest
I would suggest moving food sources a bit further away from the nesting box. I'm sure they will still find it, but most birds prefer to nest away from feeding areas. Again, others might disagree, I'm not an expert on BT's. Good luck and I hope you get a full complement of BT Fledglings later in the year.

Hello Nicholas and a warm welcome from me upon the far north of Scotland, in Caithness. There will be lots of birdie folk on here to help with your questions. I put up 2 different types of bird boxes a few years ago. Although I have seen birds show some interest in them, none have ever been used. Aww well there may still be time yet, if not next year!! Enjoy the forum and if you get some photos we would love to see them.
