Your post made me smile - sounds as though you have rather a battle going on there! Hope the teasel survives unscathed! Great photo of those insects by the way.

Thanks Christine, will keep you posted if the teasel survives!
We have some Teasels 7 feet high,we decided they must be Treesels LOL.Noticed a Peacock Butterfly on a flower on one today.
Hi Sooty, I must say I normally have lots of Teasels in the garden, but this year there is only one which is why I am so protective. Your "Treesels" sound fantastic...
Trouble is Alan, the blackbirds have completely made themselves at home in this shady, quiet part of the garden....the Bonsai must be about 40 years old and they keep digging up the roots which has never happened before!!
Hi Pat,we often have problems with Blackbirds digging up small plants as they seem to be looking for insects and the only way we have found to stop them is to drape a net over them until the culprits probably migrate and newcomers have not the same habits.
The green insect on the daisy is a Common Green Capsid.
I hope you Teasel survives.
Build it and they will come.
Thanks for the ID, WF did wonder what they were
