The Absam Kestrel Cam

The Absam kestrel cam, I came across one day,
Was in a nest box of 5 eggs, laid by a small bird of prey.
The Father was so beautiful, the Mother was so too.
She flapped about, preparing herself for the things she had to do.
Out they came so cute and small.
Took three days to hatch them all.
All five siblings, the mother would feed,
Dad fed them also, when there was need.
The last to hatch was a tough little thing.
It was a feisty character, that was surprising.
It was so tiny, compared to all the rest,
Would it survive when it left the nest?
They looked so funny in their White fluffy down,
Like cotton wool balls moving around.
They had no aggression at all for each other,
But when they were hungry, they had for poor mother.
They had a fright one summers day,
When a human hand came their way,
To tag their feet so when they could fly,
They'd be recognised as they flew by.
They are looking more like kestrels now.
With Proper feathers that allow,
Instant take off and flying about.
The nest box is empty, they'd rather be out.
Now what will become of the feisty one?
Cause of it's character, it was so much fun.
When it's feathers grew, it put on a display,
Showing off it's new look  before flying away.
The parents, what a family they made!
From the five eggs in the nest box, that the mother had laid
Of this small bird of prey, I am now a fan
After coming across the Absam kestrel cam
