Somewhere to put those poems which don't fit into the categories already used. These animals are in most of our houses, but are difficult to catch!
{} {} {} DUST BUNNIES {} {} {}
My Dust Bunnies are hiding: they're awfully shy -
I can't seem to lose them, however I try.
They sit under the dresser, they lurk under the rugs,
Harder to sweep up than dog hairs, or bugs.
Each day they are growing: they eat up the crumbs-
They avoid all my cleaning and when the hoover comes.
I suppose I should chase them with duster and brush,
But I'm not a great housewife: to clean up, I don't rush...
So I'll adopt them as pets, and give them each names -
I'll call them Jemima, Caroline and James....
One day they'll have babies, some more little cuties -
I'll just feed them on fluff, and knit them all booties.
I love it!!!! :-D
Thanks Lindybird ---- they are little scamps. Mine run around and chase me.

Great poem and so nice to hear from people with a different view on everyday life.
Dust bunnies are right up with cobwebs that will always find a way into your house somewhere.....

Love it and how true you can never irradicate the dust bunnies !!!
Of all creatures, man is the most detestable, he is the only creature that inflicts pain for sport, knowing it to be pain. ~ Mark Twain
Lol! Thanks for cheering me up!
Make the boy interested in natural history if you can; it is better than games [Robert Falcon Scott]
I was just on the threads to see the great poems that Tom has just posted from Nick Hallam, (if you have not seen them yet, go & have a look!) and I realised that I have not thanked you nice folks for your kind comments! Glad you enjoyed!
