I've been trying to find the community rules related to copyright of my images. Where can I find this?
In particular, I want to know what the RSPB can do with any images that I upload to the forums or anywhere else on the site.
As my images are also occasionally uploaded by an RSPB staff member to a reserve blog, I want to know the copyright and use status of those images, too.

Jerry, thanks for that.
I will continue to upload because I enjoy sharing my pictures and I dont make my living from them. I'm happy for the RSPB to use them, if they wish, provided I get recognition as the photographer.

If you're concerned about unauthorised re-use just watermark your shots.
Hi- RSPB used one of mine- if it helps birds/birders that's the name of the game as far as I'm concerned

For advice about Birding, Identification, field guides, binoculars, scopes, tripods, etc - put 'Birding Tips' into the search box
If I uploaded a photo I'd taken that the RSPB thought was good enough to be used by them I'd be thrilled - and very surprised!
Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.
I'd feel rather churlish not letting them use an image of mine, seeing as a significant proportion of my wildlife shots get taken on RSPB reserves. It'd feel like taking a picture of your back garden then refusing to let you have a copy! Most rude :-)

That's a very good point.
