Good morning everyone,
Apologies for the radio silence from myself, I have unfortunately been unwell, however I have been keeping an eye on the upgrade thread.
As promised, I am starting a new thread to take over from the previous one. Hopefully this one behaves itself as it should do and it doesn't cause individuals to be signed out.
I will work through the previous thread to collate any additional issues that have been raised and aim to come back to you as soon as possible with an update. Please do bear with me.
Thank you - Kylie

Just for info:
I got this just now on the Loch of the Lowes thread when getting up the Insert box:
IMAGICAT

Hello Kylie, I hope you've had a good bank holiday weekend, and start with some good news.
The above mentioned issue with replies using emojis in the quote seems to be resolved.

Firstly, why is an underline tacked onto the end of an @So-and-So (but not always, it didn't do it to you, Kylie, in this post).
I've been trying to post with a quote but it won't display in the Full Editor box. This is an example:
If I boldened a name, the previous text would go bold but not what was highlighted !!!
I posted anyway, hoping it would turn out right - but got the red msg "This field is required and quote blocks must match".
Partially rewrote the post, replacing the quote with an explanation of what I was referring to, but was left with these little boxes dotted around - unable to remove them:
It's all too strange - this post seems to be behaving as it should - all these faults are random and mind-boggling
Its like an auto-focus screen on a digital camera having a problem?
Do we now presume that the fixes have been made and finished as communication has ended?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.
I really do hope not. I wonder if OfficialRSPB would like to comment at some point.
Let's hope that OfficialRSPB (Kylie - Official RSPB) is in good health
the last time they commented on page 2 that was 19th April. then they disapeared for a couple of days. so I waited for them to come back. then on page 3 on 24th April they came back but only temporarily in fact I only had time to comtribute to there thread omce before they left but if I didnt I wpuld of missed them. then on page 4 which was the 1st May I commented. I noticed they came online so they probably saw the comments on that page but they went offline so for this reason I decided to just wait for them rather than make any more comments besides I was going to be even more busy and they still hadnt commented now its the 19th so they have been gone for even longer than last time cause the last time they commented was the 24th April. hopefuly they do come back but at this point its hard to tell if or when

I hope this won’t likethe last upgrade with no more replies, although replies have been happening longer than the previous ungraded But if no more replies happen again. The only way would be to register for this years AGM(if your an RSPB member’ and the more RSPB members that put questions direct on the day, more RSPB members might take notice as well as management. I register every year and putting a direct question to the RSPB management. Sadly only RSPB members can register and ask questions at the RSPB’s AGM.
Regards,
Ian.
