Evert time I try to get into the upgrade Thread, I get signed out and can no longer reply to it because it becomes an interminable loop.
I do have a question though.
Official RSPB says that there was nothing wrong when they did the Upgrade Test - therefore the Community must have looked like it did before the Upgrade otherwise alarm bells would have rung.
Therefore I cannot understand how alarm bells didn't ring when the Community came up looking like this.
It does suggest that the Technical Team really had no idea what the Community looked like before the Upgrade or they would have realised what was happening.
This could be the time to just stay signed out!

I mentioned this many times that I always dread when there is an upgrade and it’s happened again. It’s is the worst upgrade I’ve ever seen worse than previous upgrades. I’m not an expert on this. It just a real mess. Promises again. What on Earth has happened to make forum so difficult to use! Everything seems a mess. And yes I wish Mrs T was back! But she is enjoying her retirement!

You're wrong -its a comfort in these trying times
I get signed out a lot - most often if I try to use the "latest" comment to try and get to the bottom off what I know is going to be a long Thread. Its a struggle to go back to having to click on the Main Post to go down a thread, especially when that's not the way one is supposed to do it.
I can also get signed out when I go from one Page (eg Wildlife) to another eg (About) but that's much more random.
It is just so disappointing that no one noticed what was happening and that things had changed so much when you did the testing or when the Upgrade went live. It should have rung alarm bells!!!
First, I hope you don't sign out permanently, we'd miss those super photos.
It is extremely frustrating what has and is happening. So much seems to be random in how and when it affects users.

You do realise that what we are experiencing is exactly what happened 5 years ago at the last Upgrade ( see my post in the other thread.) Its such a shame your people didn't look at the before and after when the "Tested" this "Upgrade".
But as ever, fault will never be at your door.
from 5 years ago - look at the layout and the vote buttons - we are reinventing the wheel. This should all have been sorted before it went live.
