Pair of male sparrows

A pair of male sparrows comes together every day to the feeder on our garden. They fly in and out always together. I was wondering if anyone knows if this is a common behaviour for sparrows?

Are they House Sparrows?
They are social birds and will hang out in flocks so you may see more.

Thanks for your replies. From pictures I saw of both house and tree sparrows I think they might be indeed tree sparrows. I was unaware that male and female are similar.
I'll try to catch a picture of them next time I see them to better compare.

Here they are. Managed to capture only one as the other one kept hiding in the tree. Managed to get a goldfinch in one of the pictures too

Well done on getting the photos yep he's a male House Sparrow, it's good to see the Goldfinch too.
