Peanut butter made for human consumption

Question

Is it OK to give birds no-salt peanut butter meant for humans? My husband is worried it will make their feathers sticky or stick their beaks together. Flutter Butter is much harder and less goo-ey but has beef suet in, which I wanted to avoid. I buy peanut butter without salt, sugar or palm oil. Thanks.

I often mix half oats, half plain flour to the lard then add blitzed peanuts (so as not to choke babies) & raisins, add peanut butter before the water to make firm but not sticky dough ... cheap & very well received!
