Wood duck

I saw a wood duck today on esthwaite water by the fishing club. I know this is a non native and invasive spiecies does it need reporting somewhere

    Probably just pop your sighting into irecord - there is nothing to be done - it's illegal to release both Wood duck and Mandarine but there is a small feral population - throughout England. Im not sure if there any records of them cross breeding with Mallard or any other of our native ducks - which are more than capable of out crossing themselves - think tufted duck x pochard or golden eye
