Never had fieldfare in our garden before, beautiful bird also had all the usuals, blue, geat,longtail tits, colared doves, wood pigion, magpie,robin,sparrows, siskin and another rare visitor a bull finch we are at tamworth staffordshire, bye Col.
Hi Col, welcome to the forum. A bullfinch ! you are lucky ;). I had my first redwing today, here in Newark, nottinghamshire. Btw great link for the fieldfarfes !!

Great link. We had around 150 Field fares in our communial garden one afternoon, they stripped a Cotoneaster tree bare in about 2 hours. It was fab to watch them taking turns at eating the berries....................Then they went and sat in the Sycamore trees that we have (booo hissss) and poohed red pooh all over the cars...................Says summat dun it?:)
