Please excuse the wobbling, but handheld camera on full zoom in the cold wasn't the easiest to hold still! Lol!! I'm so excited though as they are definitely showing signs of boxing! In another previous field there were hares actually boxing a bit but it was too dark for any pics...

Nice one MarJus, They are big, the ones behind my home are no where near that size!
For viewing or photography right place right time is everything. I'd rather be in the right place with poor kit than have the best kit and be in the wrong place.
Brilliant video MarJus, thanks for sharing it.
The necessity of bird-watching is a really good reason for avoiding all forms of housework.
The dust will still be there tomorrow - the birds may not be!
hi MarJus
Fabulous pictures of the Hares, and well done taking the early morning plunge to get the shots.
Even if the light was bad they are are superb creatures to watch any day,
Regards

Oh Marjus, I am jealous, lucky you, I don't get tthe chance to see hares living nr the city.
I agree McHale, "They are big!" Most hares I've seen before are not that large & chunky. They must have a good habitat & food supply.
Brilliant!
We get hares around here but don't usually get to see them often as they're always hiding away!

Great video footage, how wonderful to watch and record them. Where were these hares? I last saw a group when I was on holiday in Dorset about 4 years ago.
Fantastic MarJus. Thank you. Who needs the BBC, we have MarJus's Winter Watch.
Thanks everyone! Hope to get more (and better) soon! This is in Shropshire Feathers! I saw 9 this morning! :-)
Great video MarJus - they are funny characters aren't they.
Took the opportunity to look at your other recent photos on your flickr page - exceptional photography. You manage to get it just right everytime.

Lovely Video, thankyou.
What beautiful creatures and to think they have their babies in a scrape on the ground.!
