Hi there
I managed to get some pictures of one of our two Wood Pigeons this afternoon.
He looks a bit wet form the rain we had here so it has given him a bit of a Sid vicious punk hair do.
I had a chat to him also, so he was not scared off too easily and it worked.
I tried to get as close as possible to him and it worked to a point.
The last picture just tells it all as Woodies punk hairdo is showing well. As for his beak he looks as if he has stuffed his mouth and cannot 'coo' anymore LOL
Regards
Kathy and Dave

Hi Blackbird.
Thanks for the nice comments. Sorry I forgot to answer your question. I can't say I have original names for any of the wood pigeons that come to my garden. I'm afraid it's just Woody. Not very original I know but I don't think the birds are too bothered.
