Limpy and I made it to Mull again this year - it was just what we needed after a bit of a challenging winter. I'm going to dive right in and show the stars of the visit first, though I'll be adding to the thread as I get through the (large) quantities of photos I took! Here we go:

Our herring gulls are red listed birds. Think about that the next time you hear some flaming idiot calling for a cull of them.

The day after the eagle trip we headed out on another trip, this time to the isles of Lunga and Staffa. Lunga was particularly difficult for Limpy as we had to first navigate a floating pontoon, followed by a rocky shore and then a cliff! With help from a crew member we managed to get him (painfully) up, where we were met by one of his favourite birds:
Lunga is sheer puffin heaven!
We were no more than a few feet from these birds and they showed no fear of us at all.
Yay! Got the sandeel shot.
