Wales walk-2

Hi,

a good walk for birds and scenery is at Llangranog near Newquay. There is a good cafe at the bay and the coastal path runs north and south.  Choughs and ravens regularly fly over the bay which also produces dolphins. Manx shearwaters and gannets can be seen from the top of the cliffs- north seems better. Other birds include stonechat whitethroat and grey wagtail. Walking a mile or 2 north is nice. Summer seems best here. I have been in august and had migrant falls in the bushes- mainly chiffchaffs and lesser whitethroat.

  • Hiya.

Thanks for the heads up on those two sites. I definately need to get out and about to different sites, the way I used to when I was a gangly, awkward and terribly enthusiastic teenager.

    Thanks, Colin.
