Hi Guys, Today I went to my local RSPB Reserve (Old Moor) & was treated by seeing a Male Marsh Harrier, which also looked like It was nest building. Fingers crossed Its successfull. I have seen them here before, but only passing through. As far as I know this Is the first time a Marsh Harrier has been seen nest building..

Hi Sean
Great news for such a spectacular bird.
Really hope that he finds a mate and brings up his own family to enhance the life of a Marsh Harrier
Love them, and I would love to see one close up and peraonl as you have.
Last time I saw one was at Titchwell last year

Hi again, Great news people, I can confirm that there are now 2 Marsh harriers at Old Moor & yes one of them Is a female, This Is fantastic news, lets hope now that they take up residence & bring a couple of young uns into the world at Old Moor, Go to Old Moor If you wanna see Marsh harriers, but part of the reserve has been cordoned off to give them space, but they can still be seen from either the Family hide, wader scrape or wath ings hides.... Superb!!!
