Latest research reveals continued threat to vultures from banned drugs

Despite the progress in the captive breeding programme and the improved usage and availibility of meloxicam, the anti-inflammatory drug diclofenac that is toxic to vultures is still being sold for the purpose of treating ailing cows, putting the already critically endangered vultures of the area at risk of extinction.
