Birds of prey appeal

I have been checking the RSPB appeal since the first time I

saw it on the RSPB website to

see if there’s

any more updates and how

its doing with the donations

Since the first time

I saw it which was  3 years ago.

people have donated to the other appeals

But not this one.

even after the news in 2020

the bird of prey

crime wave no ones

contributed to the appeal.

2020 was the worst year for illegal trapping and

shooting and poisoning

and they have

it all maped out. I have been thinking of being

a bird of prey defender ever since I first saw the

appeal. So Im going to contribute to the appeal.

if you would like to find out

the news to do with the appeal and

help contribute to the appeal aswell then the links

are down here.

  • Well done for raising this point Zo it is an appeal very close to my heart. We live in North Yorkshire in the centre of the worst area for Raptor persecution and spend a lot of our time and effort into keeping an eye on our local birds of prey on the local moorland. It is difficult for the local police to follow up on these crimes due to the remoteness of the area. Many local birdwatchers also report sightings of species like Harriers to the RSPB Harrier watch people so there is quite a lot of work going on that is not publicised, thanks for supporting something I have a great interest in.

Birding is for everyone no matter how good or bad we are at it,enjoy it while you can
