Are you aware of this scheme being put forward by Portsmouth City Council? The Wildlife Trusts are enlisting support to get the plan scrapped. If it goes ahead it will make a mockery of RAMSAR designations, Special Protection Area and SSSI laws.
Having been born and bred in Portsmouth and developed my keen interest in waders from the habitat that surrounds our only island city, the thought of this development just fill me with fear.
Will the RSPB be getting involved? It must adversely impact on your sites there or nearby.
