I think Mr Avery is on a none starter with this, grouse hooting is big business, and on land that is also owned by a lot of conservationist.
Yes and if we did'nt have the moors which the majority are owned by the grouse huntsmen we would'nt have all the valuable moors with all the valuable wildlife of which 75% of heather moorland are in the UK, worldwide, as I found out at an indoor meeting of my Local RSPB Group about the problems facing Hen Harriers on UK moorland last November.
