Is this a wood pigeon cross?

Saw this bird in Crystal Palace London. Is it a rock dove/feral pigeon crossed with a wood pigeon? The one on the right was so much bigger than the rest and the unusual white marks make me think it's a cross. Also the feet look very different. Is this common?

  • Both bog standard feral pigeons. The white bits look more like it's been splashed with paint or something, particularly as the one on the left looks like it has a spot of the same just behind it's eye. Feet look fine, although the one on the left looks like it's missing a hind claw. Feet deformities and injuries seem to be reasonably common in feral pigeon, i often see them with bits, or even a whole foot, missing.
  • As Mr B has noted, these are both Ferals. The one on the right is part 'Grizzle' plumage (the dotted effect) and looking at the cere, it might well be a male.
