Hi,
I and my partner saw this one in the pond at The University Of Stirling pond. Could it be Madagascan pochard?
I'm afraid not, mbunga. What you have there is a domesticated variety of Mallard possibly one known as a Khaki Campbell.
The Madagascan Pochard is believed to be the rarest bird in the world and doesn't exist outside Madagascar as far as I'm aware.
