Chickpeas

Apparently chickpeas and any beans have to be fully cooked as uncooked beans, even if soaked overnight, contain hemagglutinin which is toxic to birds

Thanks Adam, I'll cook them like I do for human consumption! Hope the birds like them as much as I do! 

I would be surprised if any garden birds recognised chickpeas as a food source. Ducks on a local pond maybe would though?
