(Pardon the Scottish Accent)
Thanks ILR...got another to add lol
Young Stonechat from yesterday at Loch Lomond
Juvenile Chiff Chaff in Worcester, UK, at the side of the canal
First time we've had any nesting birds in the garden. Blue Tits Furious activity to and from the box for a good few days, intermittent "squealing" as the adults arrived at the hole... then yesterday the adults were in and among the flower pots. Not sure if this is too young, or normal, both adults attending the fledgling... beyond the garden furniture lol
The adults didn't mind as I moved for a better shot (the big lens helped!)... I'm guessing it's a girl coz of it's girlie lemon ra-ra skirt
Grumpy beggar!
I looked out this morning, before work (silly o'clock) but didn't see anything, so half expected to come home this afternoon to a bit of carnage, but nope... still going strong... if you don't hurry up and feed me i'll eat this bit of grass!
Still a grumpy beggar!!
Sighhhh, it's soooo tiring being waited on hand and foot
Lucky to see this GSW going to its nesting hole, didn't actually see the chick until looking at the photo after though, heavily cropped and low lighting didn't end up me giving a very good photo though!
And my first stonechat sighting involved some lively youngsters.
