Collecting photos of some of my garden visitors. Thought I would share them and add more as ||I get them. Isolation giving me more time!
Lucky the sparrowhawk hung around long enough for a few shots
Jay a regular visitor
Surprised the Fieldfare and Redwing are still in the garden
Low flying Buzzard
Couldn't resist tis one!
New to my garden (in 35 years) pair of Treecrepers
Very distant Red Kite
Lovely song thrush (which I mistook for a Mistle)
Now a few of the regulars:-
Not many today, bit grey and windy
Having finished with my cherries the Blackbirds have started on my Mulberries. Whilst waiting to catch them in the act i saw this young
Robin helping itself to the ones they had knocked off
Juvenile sitting on a stump that looks like it has provided many meals.
The 1st one jumped onto the ground and another juvenile took its place.
Up in my wild area the Scabious are coming out and attracting the Bumble bees and butterflies
Lot to learn
Various colours of scabious plants here & so reliable at reappearing year after year, a great bee magnet! However nothing like the variety of birds you get David, good to share yours!
