Well now I actually wake up in morning and want to actually sit in the garden rather than dread it. Lots more wildlife friendly things to be added but its a marathon not a sprint.

Well what a transformation that is Linda, it looks lovely now with lots of colour, plants, trees and bushes. I would love to sit there having a cuppa, listening to all the birdies. Well done to you and other half on the project.

They say gardening helps the soul Linda, well yours must be singing out loud after all that work, but so worth while as the garden looks lovely and I'm sure the birds will be enjoying all the various water features and plants to explore.

The garden is looking fabulous Linda, and the wildlife seems to be enjoying the hard work you're putting in.

I'm not good at gardening or DiY either, but like yourselves, and leg permitting these days, I'll have a go.

well my body aint singing Gaynor thats for sure lol but yes it certainly feel good to create something with our own hands and my wildlife seem happy too

Cheers Mike, best tool we bought was a tamping bar like a big heavy metal spear as with all the tree roots and rubble its was so much better than a spade for digging.
off out on a rock hunt today to finish off around the large water feature and hopefully see some birdies...
