This is the link to last years thread https://community.rspb.org.uk/wildlife/f/all-creatures/196151/mainly-mammals-2018#pifragment-4271=26
A bit late starting this off, but here we go with a Coypu trying to hide in some reeds & then disappearing off. Photos from mid january.
All contributions welcome!
Best wishes

I've just realised many photos from this year were added to "Mainly Mammals", which is from 2017 (HERE) instead of this more recent "Mainly Mammals 2019" thread. So back to this one with a Roe Deer. If you're wondering, his mouth is open because he is chewing on some leaves

A little treat for me today when this gorgeous female Roe Deer appeared from the reed bed.
She then decided to take a walk across the scrape which I've done as a slide show.
It looked as though she might have a scar on her left shoulder
At the other side she decided to take a drink
I thinks she's spotted us.

Lovely photos Alan, as Wendy says, it's a cute little critter. The setting is perfect for photos so can you go get that weasel to pose there for you lol

At least the carrots will work for the hares, too!!!
Received this photo from my brother in Australia yesterday; at first I thought the photo was upside down until I worked out it was a Fruit Bat LOL This cute critter was in his garden.
I think the shrub is the bottle brush (Callistemon)
