My bird photos HERE
Very nice Paul.
Lovely photos Jim and Paul; here's my contribution
I had put this up on Flickr. and here but a I'm struggling to find three pics I like so I've added it again; I was photographing three robins together, one pair and another male when the two males suddenly flew up into the air and I happened to catch them in reasonable focus just before they went out of frame !
and another garden robin posing for the camera
and finally at Leighton Moss a Wren that was singing it's head off lol

@ Jim, the detail in the macro shot of the fly is amazing!
@ Paul, love that shot of the Shag, its feathers look so pristine.
@ Hazel, that Wren put a smile on my face lol.
Here are my top three:
Red Shank
Skylark
Whitethroat, probably my personal favourite wildlife photograph to date.
Very nice Hazel, and that first picture is a cracker.
And I can see why it’s your favourite picture to date WE, nice to get them in natural surrounding and on branch with flowers on it.
Excellent stuff from everyone.
Mine all come from my first trip to Bempton as it was the first time I'd seen Gannets that can make some lovely shapes as they come in to land.
I've seen Fulmars before but I they are lovely seabirds
And I have to include a Puffin: I like this one peering over the edge as if it's afraid of heights, for its vague comical sense!
