Was down at the reserve this morning and bumped into Clive Watts, as we were chatting I noticed a long tailed tit with a grub in it's beak, and thought that there must be a nest nearby. Clive managed to spot it, but it took me a while - so well camoflaged. The parents were coming back and forth, and we thought there were 3 chicks, but on looking at the photos at home, there are clearly at least 4.
Apologies for the standard of the photos, but I couldn't get any closer and they are cropped to within an inch of their lives!
Nice one Dawn, glad they got through all that rain, those nests are amazing.
