Driving rain nearly all day and even the highland cattle looked fed up with the weather, but they did bring some Yellow Wagtails close to the hide. Good selection of waders present - Green and Common Sandpipers, Ruff, Dunlin, Redshank, Snipe, Ringed and Little Ringed Plover, and for me, the first Wigeon and Pintail of the autumn. Was it worth getting wet? Of course it was.
