Thanks to Anna Allum's post about "Redstart Corner", I managed to see my first pair of these birds on Sunday (28th). After being checked-out by the Big Bull, the birds emerged and flitted around the fence for about half-an-hour giving teriffic views. Two green woodpeckers were also feeding on ants in the field nearby and the day was capped by a shower and a rainbow! Another peaceful, uplifting evening at one of my favourite reserves.
