Wildlife seen recently by our surveyors

Green Sandpipers (on the Hall lake), Little Grebe, Spotted Flycatcher (by the farm), Little Egret, Hobby, Snipe, Buzzards (over the car-park), Greylag Geese, Kingfisher (along the river), Lapwing, Nuthatch (by the feeders), Treecreeper (along the bridleway beyond  the closed woodland entrance on left), Great Crested Grebe.

Butterflies - Brimstone, Comma, Common Blue, Green-veined White, Large White, Meadow Brown, Peacock, Red Admirals (on the buddleia), Small Tortoiseshell, Small White, Speckled Wood.

Dragonflies - Brown Hawker, Common Blue Damselflies, Common Darter, Migrant Hawker.

A muntjac deer was seen mooching along the bridleway by the silt pool - seen by a lucky few.
