Fantastic staff

Yesterday, Saturday 6th June, my husband and I visited this reserve for the first time. We were greeted by a pleasant gentleman who made us feel very welcome. He was informative and enthusiastic about Middleton Lakes. I'm not sure if this is his job or if he is a volunteer, but I would like to say a huge thank you to him and for all the hard work he does. We spend a full day at the reserve and slept like logs that evening! So thank you again for not letting us miss a single thing on offer here.

    Hi Rebecca. Thank you for your kind feedback. Our 'meet and greet' team are all volunteers who give up their time at weekends, to provide a warm and informative welcome to visitors when they arrive at the reserve. It would have been either Peter or Kelvin who you met on Saturday and I am sure they will be pleased to hear what you have said.

    Hopefully we will see you back on the reserve for a 2nd visit!
