All 4 showing really well today. The male was hunting close to home and was mobed by the young ones when coming back with something to eat. One of the yougsters landed in the lone pine tree, next to the nest site and stayed there for a while before going off to see what its parents were going to bring back to eat.
They seem content to stay in the area behind that tree, and back towards cover of trees and bushes at the back of the reserve. Its a wonderful sight to see them all flying together.
2 Juvs last year and 2 more this year. Lets hope the word spreads to other harriers that Kinnordy is a great place to go!!!! Here's hoping!!
