Ay up, want to head back up to vane farm in the next couple of days, but, only if the Loch has thawed out a bit more.
Can anyone tell me how it goes up there, and whats on the go at the moment?
Cheers

Guess again Dov, there was still frozen patches on it.
Oh NO pity about the Bino's, I have everything insured, hope you get back out and about soon.
It is ice free. Vane has a few wigeon, Teal and Whoopers. The main waterbody is good for Goosander. they are everywhere in good numbers.there are a few pinks around too. I heard a Greenland Whitefront fly over me last night at dusk. There is a lovely gang of Redpolls around the feeders at vane Farm also.
I'd give up all this wildlife watching for a season ticket for my beloved Bristol Rovers
