HAPPY NEW WEEK!
I hope everyone has a good week.
There was a major ruckus over my patch this past week. A dispute arose between the flock of Crows and the Barred Owl pair. I don't know what the issue of contention was, but the crows filled the sky cawing and squawking loudly, and the owls' booming hoots filled the forest for nearly an hour.
We had a couple of days of record-breaking warmth that made everyone shake their heads in surprise. It was 67F or 19C in my area with glorious sunshine. So very strange for February. It's back to winter now with snow coming next week.
So nice to see Heather back. Take care and don't try to do too much, Heather.
Love and hugs to all.
Oh, so replies are indented. Can't say I'm thrilled with having to go back to the very first post to change the subject and what if you want to respond to more than one person? Go back to the start each time? Time consuming says cranky me!
Annette: I was just trying to understand the basic structure of the new format and figure out a faster way. If folks just accept the indent, that's fine with me.
Not sure I can get my head around this - seems to make replying a random exercise - but willing to give it a try!
yes, I know I am "replying" to myself with this - just playing about really to see if I am understanding it - think I shall most often use the non-indented method to keep conversation flowing, rather than lots of little itty-bitty replies!
It's too early (8 am) and I'm too tired, too fuddly duddy to learn new tricks <sigh> I think chronologically, not jump from topic to topic.
Dau#1 plus ? (she just said "we") are visiting OH for his b-day this afternoon. Dau#2 & Trio tomorrow (her OH away on work trip).
OMG...... I hate it already....
I think we will get used to it Lindy. Am I tempting fate by saying that it seems to respond faster?
well if we just keep hitting reply to the most recent post (which we did before, we'll end up way over to the right-hand side of the page). It wasn't broke, but they fixed it anyway. Sigh. Also, not wild about the typeface on the home page - heavy and clunky.
I'm trying out the apparent need to go back to the original post to start a new subject. Wonder where this post will show up.
Good Lord, I'd like us to be able to respond to multiple posts without having to start a new topic every time. Who redesigns these things? Nobody who uses them apparently..... It's way more cumbersome...
