IMAGICAT
I've just discovered this video about the ringing of IC1 and IC2. Maybe it's been posted before but it's a nice memory before the exciting return I'm sure we're all hoping for of the LG pair. I also note it was patily who last posted on this thread, so another fond memory for us all
EDIT I see Bart posted the video. Oh well, here it is again......start the countdown!!!
Birdie's DU Summaries 2018 https://www.imagicat.com/
Dare I say it but only 6 WEEKS OR 42 DAYS until the 2nd last week in March UNTIL OUR BELOVED OSPREYS START TO RETURN EJ would be one of the first to arrive, around the 23rd and I think the Manton Bay birds are early as well. Oooohhhhhh exciting, not long at all.
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

Thanks, BLUESKY2 - I did know and meant to post it in the "Anything goes" thread, forgot. I understood from the early news that Winterwatch (well, one of the remaining two) is to be extended.

From memory - Laddie is usually early, plus Maya and Blue33... I've muted all sound here to try to rustle up others without cheating, am failing.
Last year (2022) I've got Laddie/LM12 returning on 13 March, his earliest arrival ever. Maya on 15 March followed by Blue 33(11)m on 21 March and Mrs O at Tweed Valley on 22 March. LOL, I notice that Mrs 7A at Esthwaite Water is also known as Mrs O. I guess there must be quite a few out there!
