AT RINGING - Quote RSPB Abernethy Facebook "The male BLUE 1C2 is thought to be the older one at 1.5kgs with the female BLUE 1C1 being the younger one at 1.5kgs."

IMAGICAT
So we know Axel is still here, and have also seen KL5, the other do we think was 1C2 that was squealing from the dead tree?
Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

You have every justification, Wattle - you stood your ground
I'm pretty much up-to-date with all the cams I cover, so am packing up now, SYAL.

Little bird leaving the dead tree:
That's all - unless you know different!
trevor l said:From chat 2 Mistle Thrush's on the nest 1 on perch other on extreme right Time 17.38 + bird in dead tree
As well as the wind, there was a dang aeroplane drowning out the few voices, I done me best
I didn't focus on the one on the right because it wasn't clear enough, but there were some other birdies for you
Maybe next season they'll have someone available to zoom, but unfortnately we onliners are the lowest priority for stretched HQ staff.
That's all I found up to nightfall.

Just maybe next season the person in charge will realise how much time is put into this forum
Once again thank Scylla for the wonderful video
Come on you on liners speak UP ??
Posted from LG Facebook page (posted on 3 September, some overlap with scylla's video from 2 September. Sure sounds like a squeaky chick to me)
'A surprise yesterday, when AX6 reappeared by the nest and spent an hour preening on the old dead tree. Where has he been these last few weeks? If he's not away on migration yet, what has he been up to? Has his chick 1C2 been with him?
A second osprey then appeared! Could this be 1C2? Or this an intruder, possibly the male KL5 that has been hanging around recently? Could this be a battle for the nest that will last into next season?'
