IMAGICAT
26 August
Just to "announce" that I switched off the downloader last night when the cam went into a big buffer... and forgot to switch it back on again until just now
I haven't got the oomph to tackle YT rollback now, but I'm sure eagle-eyed BART, and others too, would have picked up any significant event.
Packing up time - SYAL!

18.55 Cuckoo on the nest on the perch preening
Wow! Great spot Trevor and thanks to Bart for the snap.
What a treat - it stayed for about half an hour - never watched one for such along time
Mid-afternoon we had a rainbow, very low:

I thought you were on strike until the Feeder cam comes online, Trevor
Thank you for the snap, BART - but I know you could have added a very fine video if you weren't concerned about stepping on my toes/putting my nose out of joint. Thing is, I'm spoiled here, and stuff doesn't get posted till everyone's gone to bed
I tried cropping closer but it was just too grainy.
.
I didn't see anyone or anything else unusual up to about 21:00.

I would if I had the time at the moment, but I have to record it from the live stream and as yet that is on my 'work' computer and there are still a few other nests that have bird action I have on the background. Setting up my other computer this weekend for capturing the nests so I can properly multi task (the season isn't over yet!!, E.g. at the falcon cam at Orange NSW there is a 3 day old egg, and more to come, and the owls and PLO...)Promise I'm not overly concerned about your toes . I don't think anyone will mind if something gets posted twice. And you and I are on the same page (figuratively and literally sometimes) as far as this is concerned :-)
