Flaky stream - as is the Osprey nest but this is worse.
This morning a Coal Tit visited and the female Goshawk brought back a morsel - I'm thinking that the first time we'll know there's a hatch is when we see feeding.
IMAGICAT
They're here! Shell seen last evening, 2 chicks this morning:
Someone on Chat said the other day that they'd seen 3 eggs but I have only ever seen TWO - that's not to say there isn't a third.
PS - Just after midnight - looks like the Pine Marten tried to intrude but we didn't see it:
I asked on Chat about the underlying crackling and WildlifeWindows replied:
"The camera and microphone are 7m away from the nest. The microphone is directional and gain increased for sensitivity....it is what it is. In a couple of days it will come into its own."
7 miles - gosh!
Silly me - it's 7 metres

A feed from today but MrsGoshawk blocked our view:

What a surprise I got! I'd only ever seen 2 eggs but did see "SEA" on Chat say s/he'd seen 3.
Just a shortie, we'll have to wait for growth for good views. Am relieved I got the prey ID correct, who knows if Scotland has red rats with bushy tails?

First meal this morning - can't see much, and one of the chicks, presumably the youngest, was only just glimpsed:
This cam is so flaky I've had to switch it off.
The chicks seem fine this morning, and one gave us a perpendicular poop!
I've only found 2 up this morning so far, won't have any more today.
