From little 'fluff balls' to almost fully grown ospreys, LR1 and LR2 are doing amazingly well all thanks to the fantastic ongoing care from NC0 and Laddie (LM12). Not only have we seen Laddie providing fish for his family but NC0 has been successful several times just recently as well - what first-class parents they are! There continues to be the occasional intrusion from ospreys passing through, however, the nest and chicks have been protected outstandingly. We look forward to the next exciting phase in the young ospreys' development.
Good morning Scylla and Patily, Many thanks for the vid, Scylla. I'm very much in a rush this morning (slept through the alarm!) so will only do a quick summary. Laddie did a drop off delivery of a small, live fish at 5:15ish. LR2 was already there to claim it. LR2 flew off with it but came back to eat on the nest 5 minutes or so later. NC0 arrived around 5:50, LR2 had already eaten what he'd wanted so she tucked in. LR1*** came to the nest but not sure if NC0 fed her. At time of writing, NC0 is feeding LR2 with a new fish I have to go but will check back later. BFN
***Edit - in my haste, it was LR2 who was on the nest with NC0
14:52 Laddie brought a fish to an empty nest. LR1 arrived first closely followed by LR2
LR2 flying round from the birch area. LR1 was already on her way but not in shot here. NC0 on her birch branch

16:40ish A zoom on the birch. The Osprey on top of the left branch had just landed after flying from around the corner (behind the birch)
The one on the top left branch flew back to the nest
I think it was LR1
Flight away
17:40 Headless? fish from NC0. LR2 was on the nest to claim it
Following on from LR2's fish claim, LR1 did came to the nest just before 18:00 - the cam zoomed in
LR2 left with his fish
18:35 NC0 delivered another, LR1 was on the nest to take this one...after a little struggle
LR1 flew off with her fish
19:16 Laddie came to an empty nest with a stick
He placed it at the back of the nest
He stayed for a short while before leaving
At time of posting, it's been ENS since then
20:33 LR2 landed on the nest
Just after 20:45, NC0 brought another fish. Both LR2 (back left) and LR1 were on the nest.
LR1 grabbed the fish
She took it to the birch to eat
Cam has gone offline
Edit - back now. ENS
