From little 'fluff balls' to almost fully grown ospreys, LR1 and LR2 are doing amazingly well all thanks to the fantastic ongoing care from NC0 and Laddie (LM12). Not only have we seen Laddie providing fish for his family but NC0 has been successful several times just recently as well - what first-class parents they are! There continues to be the occasional intrusion from ospreys passing through, however, the nest and chicks have been protected outstandingly. We look forward to the next exciting phase in the young ospreys' development.
Good morning Scylla, Patily and all Great to see that breakfish has already been delivered. Loved the morning 'get-go' vid - if only we had their energy first thing! lol
Edit - LR1 and LR2 are 50 and 48 days old respectively
Nice morning

A catch up of the rest of today so far... all are ‘-ish’ timings8:20 An unseen intrusion
10:25+ Laddie delivered a headless fish but the feed was interrupted by another unseen intrusion
NC0 left the nest with the fish. She came back approx. 15 minutes later with the fish still in her talons and recommenced a feed
NC0 was quite wary, stopped the feed and once again left the nest with the fish. She headed to the birch area. When she finally came back to the nest, after quite a while away, her talons were empty
13:25 Yet another unseen intrusion
14:10 Laddie delivered a headless fish. During the feed, LR2 took the fish...
LR1 snatched it from him and brought it to the front of the nest where NC0 attempted to steal – lr1 made it clear that she wasn’t going to give it up
There was a brief unseen intrusion during this time. LR1 protected her fish
Once LR1 had eaten her fill, LR2 took it to have a nibble at but gave up after a while and walked away from it. NC0 found the discarded fish tail and shared it with LR2
15:50 NC0 alarm called, LR1 and LR2 flattened as a loud jet aircraft flew over
LR1 and LR2 have been 'doing their thing' since then. Apologies for such a long post

Around 18:45 I wonder if Laddie was sitting above the cam? LR2 (front), LR1 (right) and NC0 looking up
19:31 A headless fish delivery from Laddie. NC0 and LR1 battled for it it, then there was a three-way game of 'tug o' fish'...LR2 won!
After a few bites and being protective of his 'prize', LR2 had to contend with another game with his sister...LR1 won this round! lol

Really great capture Sandra ... ought to be a caption competition!
I reckon they were watching a rerun of 'The 3 Stooges' Lol
