12.7.21 - LR2 fledged at 53 days old, c17:40 Blog: LR2 fledges
From little 'fluff balls' to almost fully grown ospreys, LR1 and LR2 are doing amazingly well all thanks to the fantastic ongoing care from NC0 and Laddie (LM12). Not only have we seen Laddie providing fish for his family but NC0 has been successful several times just recently as well - what first-class parents they are! There continues to be the occasional intrusion from ospreys passing through, however, the nest and chicks have been protected outstandingly. We look forward to the next exciting phase in the young ospreys' development.
19:03 Dive! NC0 once again successful! Back to the nest with a fish

20:32 A headless fish from Laddie
LR1 (right) attempted to snatch the fish from NC0 but wasn't successful
20:49 I do wish LR2 would get away from the edge of the nest!
20:53 PHEW! Thank goodness for that! LR2 walked around the back of the nest to then rejoin the feed
Sandra P said:11:30 LR1 (front) and LR2 showing their wing spans
Sandra P said:14:20 LR1 helicoptering!
They might both have fledged by the time I get stuff done!

Awww, thanks so much Scylla!
I wasn't too far out with my timings then! lol
22:42 A headless fish from Laddie. He nearly slipped off the edge of the nest as he landed due to NC0's hurried 'flight' from the perch to claim it (apologies for the blurred pics - it happened all too quickly)
23:01 LR1 (front) very sleepy, bless her
07 July
Not the first time I've seen LR1 sleeping standing, tucked, like a grownup:
Breakfish !!!
NC0 brought a fuzzy stick (dear SANDRA, no need to apologise for fuzzy morning and evening fuzziness, 'tis the cam not coping with poor light, not us):
I didn't see SCYLLA's post when I was looking back
I scrlled back and Laddie brought breakfast over an hour ago NC0 fed LR2 whilst LR1 exercised
WhenI firstlooked in mum and kids were just standing about but then NC0 flew off immdiately but si now back on the nest
